Claire Gould

Executive Assistant

Claire has the soul of an artist, the heart of a teacher, and the mind of an entrepreneur. She lives in Denver, CO, but spent 17 years as a working actor, stage manager, and drama teacher in Chicago. During her time in Chicago, she balanced her artistic career with her work as an Executive Assistant and Office Manager in the financial, nonprofit, and higher education industries. After her move to Denver, she shifted her career focus to become a teacher in Denver Public Schools for several years. Her varied professional background provides organizations with a robust set of organizational, coaching, and creative skills, perfect for adapting to any project or team.

Claire continues to explore new opportunities in Denver for her artistic endeavors, which currently includes mentoring her daughter’s budding interest in Shakespeare performance. Claire has a Masters in Nonprofit Management with a focus area in theatre management from DePaul University. She has a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Acting from Miami University in Ohio. In her free time, Claire enjoys all the outdoor recreation that Colorado has to offer. She is an avid hiker, paddleboarder, and cross-country skier. She is an advocate for disability rights and equity in education, a happy traveler, and an enthusiastic, if mediocre, gardener.

Artist Statement

"I believe that art holds pedagogical power, and artists can harness this to teach others to question, explore, and create their own narratives. Artists have the unique ability to tap into the collective unconscious and build spaces for humans to engage in shared storytelling. We serve both the individual and the community, offering meaningful and robust opportunities for introspection and connection."
