Bernell Lassai III (they/them was born and raised in Chicago, IL, and has lived in Brooklyn, NY for two years. Bernell is an Actor/Musician/FIlmmaker, they spent the last six years appearing in various plays, musicals, and commercials in the Chicagoland Area and Regional Theaters across the country, some of their most recent credits include “Man of La Mancha” at Riverside Theatre, “Kinky Boots” at Paramount Theatre, “The Tempest” at Oak Park Theatre Festival, and appeared in commercials for Optimum Internet and Advocate Aurora Health. Bernell’s most recent Visual EP “IMMORTAL” debuted in the fall of 2022 to critical acclaim with features from Vocalo Radio, Distribution by Open Television Network, and features in SoMad.NYC Gallery Exhibition “(UN)FIXED.” Bernell is a Webster Conservatory graduate with a BFA in Musical Theatre. They are thrilled to join SA and begin working with Movement for Family Power as an Executive Assistant and Operations Coordinator.
